FACT: By removing wet adhesives and providing a low cost solution to slab moisture, you have greatly reduced the chance for something to go wrong when installing wood flooring. Some estimate doing this will reduce claims by over 90%! Think of all the extra time you will have with few or no callbacks. Your whole day can be used productively - not putting out fires caused by old technology.
If you’re wondering, "Where can I call to find the solution to my nightmares?"

Why Urethane adhesives cause so many problems.
In the past the only cost effective way to install wood flooring over concrete was to use urethane adhesives. Urethane was used because of the strong adhesion and ability to flex with the movement of the wood floor.
- Urethane does not dry like Tite-Bond™ or Elmers™, it uses a chemical reaction to cure. This process can take up to eight hours and no traffic can go on the floor while it is curing.
- These adhesives have no initial "grab" and the wood will move if touched prior to the adhesive grabbing (firing). When the adhesive finally grabs, the bond is instant and permanent.
- History shows board movement and gapping will be discovered after the adhesive has cured and the boards cannot be repositioned. You can imagine how this can quickly become an expensive problem to fix.
- When the floor is installed, adhesive will "squirt" through the seams and often goes undetected due to the low light available at most job sites. It's at these times urethanes strong adhesion is a detriment and repairs are difficult and expensive.
- The difficulty and long learning curve of Ur-A-Pain adhesives is the number one reason wood flooring installation is avoided.
